Sleep & Cognitive Development in Infants & Toddlers – Study

Children need sleep for their cognitive development and this is the perfect reason why my profession is very sought after. The research below shows how sleep is related to cognitive development. The research identifies the need for parent-based, sleep-focused education and intervention to improve children’s early development. The research conclusion calls for further research of parent-based, sleep-focused educational intervention in the community. Clearly there is a link between sleep in early childhood and cognitive development.
